Welcome to SILVER APPLE BENGALS, a hobby bengal breeder based in South Lanarkshire, in South West Scotland.

Bengals were first bred in the U.S.A by crossing an Asian Leopard Cat with a domestic cat. They are similar in appearance to the Asian Leopard Cat but with a purely domestic temperament.

Bengals make an affectionate, trustworthy pet.  They are self-assured, affectionate, vocal and playful with stunningly wild good looks – large, sleek and very muscular.

The wild appearance is enhanced further by a unique distinctive lustrous gold / pearl dusting effect (glitter), with a rich,smooth and silky pelt.

Bengals make great pets. If you haven’t had one before be ready for some fun and games. I have found that all my bengals have integrated easily into our busy family life.  Be warned tho – they are quite addictive, one never seems to be enough!.

If you are looking for a bengal to join your family please ensure you buy from a reputable breeder and that the kitten is strong and healthy. If you are looking for a kitten to show or breed it is important for the future of the breed and for your own success that you get the best quality kitten you can, with proven pedigree.
